1003652_10152940657130370_2009107847_nWhat a busy week it’s been.  There was the Forced to Flee Arts & Democracy Project call on Tuesday; Machos & Hustlers reading at the Bronx Academy for Art & Dance (BAAD) on Wednesday; on Thursday Brian Fernandes- Halloran discussed his memory-based assemblage works with Neurologist Doctor Todd Sacktor at 287 Spring as a part of his Not Past show; on Friday a discussion with Artists in Context to help them plan their next steps as an organization; and then yesterday (Saturday), the But Does It Matter talk with Visual AIDS (see image) and a presentation of Lanchonete at the Trust Art community get-together.  Ivan Savvine from 287 Spring also blogged a nice piece on Queer/Art/Mentorship on Out There.

And, of course their was the episode at the Chinese Consulate!
