Since I took on the job of ED at Global Arts Corps, we’ve been using our comfortable office as a meeting point when we hear that people are passing through the crossroads of New York City from Pakistan, Netherlands, S. Africa and so forth.  I see these intersections as important moments to learn about the work of friends, innovators and future partners from other parts of the world … and I try not to miss an opportunity to bring people together around our table.  Over the last few weeks, we’ve hosted representatives from Ajoka Theatre, freeDimensional, The Future Project, Prince Claus Fund, International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, Peacebuilding and the Arts (of Brandeis University), Cambodia Living Arts, Season of CambodiaREDInternational Trauma Studies ProgramArchipelago BooksMaster Peace, Lotos Club, HealthRight International, Romanian Cultural Institute, Artivista, CEC Artslink, School of Visual Arts, and others.

Our office is at 157th Street and Riverside Drive; if you’re ever in the area and want to stop by, please let us know.
