This year, I served on the jury for apexart’s Unsolicited Proposal program

apexart’s Unsolicited Proposal program is an opportunity for anyone, from anywhere, to submit an exhibition proposal to us. From mid-January to mid-February, apexart accepts 500-word, idea-based exhibition proposals online for consideration by an international group of more than 100 individuals composed of artists, curators, writers, professionals, and people from other fields.

The proposal with the highest score was submitted by Kari Cwynar (Banff, Canada); the second highest scoring proposal was submitted by Natalie Musteata (Brooklyn, NY); the third highest scoring proposal was submitted by Ola El-Khalidi (San Francisco, CA).  Read more about the winners.
